Fatal crash reported on South East Street in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person has died in a Monday night crash on South East Street on the south side, police say.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was sent just before 8:50 p.m. Monday to the crash in the 3300 block of South East Street. That’s an area with restaurants and other businesses just south of the street’s intersection with Madison Avenue.

The crash involved two vehicles, IMPD said in a media notification, without giving any detail.

Video from the scene on social media showed a motorcycle and an SUV were involved.

No additional information was immediately available.
