Washington Park celebrates 125 years with food trucks, live music, festivities

DENVER (KDVR) — On Wednesday, Washington Park will be filled with food trucks, live music, history lessons and more, and it's free to attend.

Friends and Neighbors of Washington Park are throwing a party for the 125th anniversary of the park, which originated in 1899. Over a century later, the park is still bustling with people and activities.

On Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., there will be activities all across the park -- from fishing with park rangers to face painters.
