High pressure will strengthen its grip on our weather tonight and for tomorrow, allowing for mostly clear skies but also allowing temperatures to drop close to the freezing mark tonight. It turns unsettled beginning on Wednesday with a period of widespread rain expected. Shower chances persist through Friday, but that is followed by a stretch of sustained warmth and generally dry conditions.
