A warm front is approaching from the west. That will bring the region hit-or-miss showers, downpours, and non-severe thunderstorms later this morning into the early afternoon hours. It will turn humid briefly ahead of a cold front, which will be coming through this evening. Ahead of that frontal boundary, scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are anticipated to develop.
