INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting occurred just before 2:30 a.m. on Indy’s northside.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 6200 block of Meridian Street W. Dr., off 62nd Street.
When officers arrived they found two people shot. One was reported in critical condition and got transported by EMS to the hospital where they later died.
Investigators say it started as a disturbance between two vehicles.
The other person was reported as stable. Officers say they are awake and talking.
No other information was given by IMPD.
