Person critically injured in northeast side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person is dead and four people were detained on Indy’s northeast side following a shooting early Saturday morning

According to a release from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, police responded to 4100 Edgemere Court, right off 42nd Street, on reports of shots being actively fired.

Police arrived to find a male shot. He was transported to the hospital for treatment but died shortly after arrival.

Police say four people were detained on scene regarding this incident. No other information has been provided regarding this investigation.
