Skies will turn cloudy this afternoon ahead of widespread ice after sunset, but the daytime hours of Sunday will otherwise be fine. Temperatures warm up overnight, alleviating the icing concerns Capital Region-points south by the Monday morning commute. After some rain Monday, a cold front ushers in much colder, windier conditions for midweek - a fitting end to December.
