Teen beaten and robbed in Bronx broad daylight attack as suspects flee in gray sedan

Bronx, NY — A 14-year-old boy was surrounded, beaten, and robbed in the middle of the afternoon at a busy Bronx intersection, as a group of suspects carried out the attack before speeding away in a gray sedan.

The incident occurred Saturday at approximately 2:35 p.m. near White Plains Road and Allerton Avenue, where the victim was first approached by an unidentified individual who struck him in the face with a closed fist.

Moments later, four additional individuals joined in, surrounding the teen and repeatedly punching and kicking him about the body. During the assault, the group took the victim’s cell phone before fleeing the scene.
