15-year-old boy and adult man subject to violent assault by group of 20 on North Shore

A 23-year-old North Shore lifeguard intervened to save a 15-year-old boy from being attacked by a group of around 20 people, resulting in the boy suffering a concussion, broken nose, and loss of vision, while the lifeguard was also badly injured.
