Powerball ticket sold in Knox turns into $150K
KNOX BORO, Pa. — A Powerball ticket turned into a $150,000 payday in Clarion County after a player matched key numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.
The winning ticket, sold at Choice on East State Street, matched four white balls and the Powerball to initially win $50,000 — but the Power Play option tripled the prize to $150,000.
The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery officials say winners have one year to claim their prize and should sign the back of their ticket immediately.
More than 17,000 other tickets across Pennsylvania also won prizes in the same drawing.
