MOUNT COMFORT, Ind. (WISH) — A fatal crash into a tree in Hancock County on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the death of a 19-year-old Indianapolis man, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

The office said in a release the crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of County Roads 600 North and 350 West, just northeast of the Indianapolis Regional Airport.

When deputies arrived, they found a 2001 Crown Victoria severely damaged and occupied by the driver, 19-year-old Antoine Stowers. First responders could not get a response from Stowers, and “saw no signs of life.”...
