INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An early morning crash on Indianapolis’ north side killed two men and sent three others to the hospital, Indianapolis police reported Wednesday.

Online police reports show the call for a crash with injuries came in at the intersection of 86th and Meridian streets just before 3 a.m.

When Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived, they found two vehicles had been involved in a crash.

Police say an SUV ran the red light, slamming into a car going east on 86th Street.
