25-year-old man dies from gunshot wound in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A 25-year-old Fort Wayne man died early Thursday morning from a gunshot wound, marking the seventh homicide of 2026 in Fort Wayne and Allen County, the coroner said Fridya.

Authorities said Khadolphee Demarco Taylor was found about 2:45 a.m. Thursday with the gunshot wound in the 500 block of East Rudisill Boulevard. That’s in a residential area south of downtown Fort Wayne.

Medics took Taylor from the scene to a hospital, where he later died.

Fort Wayne Police Department has not announced a suspect in its continuing investigation.
