$35.5M Hoosier Lotto prize sold at Casey’s in Washington

WASHINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — A Hoosier Lottery player in Washington is holding a ticket worth an estimated $35.5 million after matching all six numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s No. 3695, located at 1466 S. State Road 57 in Washington, according to the Hoosier Lottery.

The winning numbers drawn Wednesday were 15, 16, 22, 24, 43 and 44.

The $35.5 million prize was the second-largest state lottery jackpot in the country before it was won and marked the largest Hoosier Lotto jackpot win in more than a year.

“This is an incredibly exciting moment for the Hoosier Lottery and for our players,” Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah M. Taylor said in a statement. “There is nothing quite like seeing a large Hoosier Lotto jackpot being won, and I look forward to celebrating this $35.5 million win!”

Lottery officials are encouraging players to carefully check their Hoosier Lotto tickets. Tickets can also be checked using the free Hoosier Lottery Mobile App.
