HONOLULU (KHON2) -- A big star has arrived. In fact, this star is so big, it needed a 72-foot long flatbed trailer just to get it to Oahu to begin with.

Some things of note about the big star, it could weigh 802 more times than the largest potato ever grown, could make close to a million French fries, would take nearly 7,000 years to grow and would take two-years to bake.

Who's the massive star? It's known as the Big Idaho Potato Truck.

To celebrate making it to its 50th state in the US, the Big Idaho Potato Truck will be making a public appearance at the Pearl Harbor Commissary lot Saturday, April 13.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. with a special presentation from the mayor's office at 11:30 a.m. followed by giveaways, fun activities and Idaho potato munchies from Jo-Jo's kitchen.
