INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two adults and five children were hurt in a crash Friday afternoon on I-465 on the west side, an Indiana State Police spokesman told News 8.
The crash was reported at 12:38 p.m. Friday in the northbound lanes between the interchanges for Sam Jones Expressway and U.S. 40/Washington Street.
State police Sgt. John Perrine said he had limited information on the crash, and was unable about 5 p.m. Friday to immediately confirm reports that a box truck and an SUV were involved in the crash.
Wayne Township Fire Department also responded to the crash.
The crash scene restricted traffic on I-465 for less than an hour.
