'A love letter to California': Swimmer set to begin historic 900-mile journey down coast

Catherine "Cat" Breed, a former NCAA champion swimmer, will attempt to become the first person to swim the entire length of California's 900-mile coastline, beginning on July 1, 2026, in support of her nonprofit Sea Dreamers.
