A warm Saturday is in store with stray showers

Yesterday brought a cloudy, cool, and damp day to the region with highs stuck in the 50s. Today, the same front that dropped south and allowed an easterly flow to dominate on Thursday will lift northward again, bringing a nice warm-up and some peeks of sunshine this afternoon. While some stray showers will be possible at times today, most of the day will be dry and warmer with highs near 80°. Easter weekend will remain very warm. Tomorrow's record high of 82° (1999) will be in jeopardy as we climb near 80° by the afternoon. It will be another partly sunny day with a stray shower or two, but most of the day will be dry.
