Advocates ask New York to pony up for food aid after federal cuts

A coalition of lawmakers and anti-hunger groups are urging New York Governor Kathy Hochul to add more money to the state budget to backfill federal budget cuts that threaten food security for hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers.
