Advocates, Democrats rally in Albany for $175M legal defense against ICE

Advocates and Democratic elected officials rallied at the Million Dollar Staircase to demand Governor Kathy Hochul and the legislature pass bills that shield immigrants from federal enforcement, provide legal aid, and create a grant program to recruit and train lawyers to handle increasing immigration caseloads.
