AI to help with absenteeism in Albany County public schools

Out of the approximately 35,000 students enrolled in Albany County public schools, 9,000 consistently skip school. County Executive Dan McCoy says districts and their teachers have enough going on in the classroom to then have to also handle what he calls a major problem.
