Albany Academy upended in Class A state semifinals

The Albany Academy girls basketball team has been a model of consistency: four straight 20+-win campaigns, four consecutive Section 2 championships and last weekend, the Bears punched their ticket to the state semifinals for the fourth season in a row. The last box for this program to check was capturing a state championship. Unfortunately, that goal will have to wait another year.
