Albany County passes updated senior property tax exemption law

The Albany County Legislature passed legislation to expand senior citizen property tax exemption on Monday. Under the law, seniors making less than $58,400 annually will have the ability to claim a County Property Tax Exemption up to 65% on the assessed valuation of their home.
