Algonquin Middle School alumni ushers in new mascot with inclusive mural

Back in 2022, a re-brand was mandated statewide for all school mascots with indigenous names or logos. Tonight at the Algonquin Middle School, change was not only encouraged, but celebrated, as they said goodbye to the former warrior, and unveiled their new “Golden Knight.”
