American Water Foundation backs Hawai'i reef protection efforts

Puakō for Reefs, a community-based nonprofit, received funding from the American Water Charitable Foundation to support education and outreach efforts to protect coral reefs and nearshore fisheries in Hawaiʻi's coastal communities from pollution caused by old cesspools and failing septic systems.
