Appellate court reverses Hadley man's 34-year sentence

A Hadley man’s kidnapping and assault conviction and sentence has been overturned by the Appellate Division of the state Supreme Court’s Third Department. According to the appellate court, judges ruled that during Michael Zakrzewski's inital trial, an anonymous jury was used without reason, warranting a new trial.
