Arkansas Supreme Court ruling allows candidate to remain in House race in hot check controversy 

The Arkansas Supreme Court ruled that Laura "Missy" Michelle Wardlaw, a Republican candidate for Arkansas House District 94, is eligible to remain in the race despite her 2018 violation of the Arkansas Hot Check Law, as the court found that she did not enter a guilty plea, appear in court, or be found guilty by a court.
