Armed man in custody after pursuit on IU Indy and Purdue Indy’s campus

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are responding to a report of an armed man inside a parking garage on IU Indy and Purdue Indy’s campuses Sunday.

As of 9:05 p.m. Sunday, the suspect is in custody.

IU police told News8 that they assisted the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department with the capture of alleged armed suspect at Gateway Garage on campus. The suspect is unaffiliated with IU.
