Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office alerts residents to scam calls

The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office is warning residents to watch out for a scam call in which a person falsely identifying themselves as an employee is asking for money to be sent through Zelle in order to have a relative released from jail.
