At least 1 shot, 1 detained after reported active shooter at Texas mall: police

At least one person was shot and another was detained Saturday after authorities responded to reports of an active shooter at Deerbrook Mall in Humble, Texas.

The Harris County Constable's Office Precinct 4 said deputies responded alongside the Humble Police Department to the mall, located in the 20100 block of U.S. Highway 59.

"At this time, one victim has been reported shot, and one person has been detained," the constable's office said in a statement. "Law enforcement officers remain on scene as the investigation continues."
