Atlantis Paradise Island is opening a new restaurant, Silan, during their 25th anniversary. Silan is a collaboration with Pomegranate Hospitality, set to open doors in 2024. The new restaurant will be lead by celebrity chefs Emily and Alon Shaya. A preview of Silan’s Mediterranean-inspired menu is set debut in summer of 2023.
Chef Shaya was born in Israel and raised in Philidelphia. His heritage has influenced his culinary perspective, as shown in his previous culinary endeavors. Chef Shaya has worked for Saba, Miss River, Chandalier Bar, and Safta. Consequently, this impressive portfolio made him a multiple James Beard Foundation award winner, and eater New Orleans’ Chef of the Year.
