Baja California hit by aftermath of cartel violence

Mexican authorities killed the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, resulting in retaliatory violence across the country, including the burning of vehicles and buildings in Baja California, and prompting the U.S. Embassy to issue a security alert for several Mexican states.
