Berne-Knox-Westerlo comes up short of back-to-back state titles; defeated by Cooperstown in Class C championship

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys basketball team entered Sunday's Class C state championship game seeking their second consecutive title, but a strong defensive effort from Cooperstown ended the Bulldogs bid for back-to-back championships as they were defeated by the Hawkeyes 52-43.
