INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Chicken, beer and new friendships will fill University Park on Saturday, Aug. 22, as Eat Here Indy hosts the Chicken and Beer Festival.

Bradley Houser, owner of Eat Here Indy, is organizing the event at the War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis.

The festival will feature about 30 local restaurants, breweries and coffee vendors. Guests can expect chicken and waffles, wings, skewers and other chicken dishes.

Local breweries, including Moontown and Old School Tap, also will take part.
