INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The body of an 18-year-old man reported missing last week was found at a cell tower on the city’s far east side, Indianapolis police said.

Officers located Traveion Pirtle within a fenced-in area surrounding a cellular tower in the 10500 block of East 38th Street on Friday, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced Monday. The cell tower is about one-half mile east of John Marshall High School near North German Church Road.

Pirtle had been reported missing on Sunday, March 8.
