Boston police arrest 14-year-old after masked suspects allegedly rob siblings’ lemonade stand

A 14-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery last week that targeted a children’s lemonade stand in South Boston, authorities said Friday.

The robbery happened Wednesday afternoon near West Ninth Street, when two suspects allegedly approached two children operating the stand, stole their cash box and displayed a firearm during the incident.

Officials said the arrested suspect is facing multiple firearm-related charges, including two counts of armed robbery and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The second individual involved remains at large.
