
Gunman jailed after shocking daytime shooting in Bedford Stuyvesant
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A Bedford-Stuyvesant man will spend at least 25 years behind bars after being sentenced for a brazen daytime shooting that killed an unarmed man riding a moped, prosecutors said.
Saalik Jackson, 47, was sentenced March 17 to 25 years to life in prison following his conviction for second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
