Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake softball outlasts South Glens Falls in extra-inning sectional quarterfinal marathon

Down to the final out in the ninth inning, the bottom of the lineup came to life for the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake softball team. Paired with some aggressive base running, the Spartans were able to manufacture one run, and that's all they needed to defeat South Glens Falls Thursday night in the Class AA sectional quarterfinals, advancing with an extra-inning, 1-0 victory in walk-off fashion.
