BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- You likely saw them and definitely heard thousands of fireworks going off in your neighborhoods on the Fourth of July.
Cameras from atop Adventist Health Bakersfield and the KGET studios captured the light from the likely illegal fireworks on Thursday night.
Fire officials have stressed for residents to purchase and use only fireworks that are labeled "safe and sane."
