Cardinals surrender late lead to Twins in 5-4 loss

Ryan Kreidler’s RBI double off the center-field wall in the eighth inning scored Luke Keaschall and completed the Minnesota Twins’ comeback in a 5-4 win against the St. Louis Cardinals. Kreidler had a pinch-hit single and scored the tying run in the seventh for Minnesota, which took two of three games in the series. Victor Caratini hit a two-run homer for the Twins in the fourth. Andrew Morris pitched a scoreless inning for the win. Yoendrys Gómez earned his sixth save of the season and fifth with the Twins.
