Cause determined for fire that injured 2 in Schenectady

The origin and cause of a fire on Foster Avenue Thursday has been determined. The Schenectady Fire Department's Fire Investigation Unit ruled the fire as accidental due to a highly volatile chemical solvent coming into contact with an ignition source.
