November Real Estate Rundown
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Central Indiana’s red-hot housing market had a bit of a hiccup in November, with fewer homes available for sale and longer selling times, according to Dan Brown, a realtor with F.C. Tucker.
Brown says the slowdown is partly due to seasonal factors, as the market typically adjusts downward during the holiday season. Inventory has decreased from 7,000 to 6,200 homes, and new listings are down by a third.
“It’s the tail end of the year,” Brown said Tuesday on Daybreak. “As we move into the holiday season, things normally adjust downward.”
