Chaldean Catholic bishop accused of embezzlement pleads not guilty at first court hearing

Bishop Emmanuel Shaleta, who leads Chaldean Catholics in the western United States, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Monday after being arrested at San Diego International Airport for allegedly embezzling church funds and money laundering.
