Changes to Santa Fe Drive in Encinitas reaches another milestone

The Encinitas City Council has approved a design option for Santa Fe Drive that includes removing back-in parking, constructing a new eastbound Class II buffered bike lane, maintaining 11-foot travel lanes and adding additional striping near the high school, despite opposition from some local residents.
