INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Christel House International, a nonprofit headquartered in Indianapolis, is breaking the cycle of poverty globally through education.

Founded in 1998 by entrepreneur Christel DeHaan, the organization operates schools in India, Jamaica, Mexico, South Africa and the United States, including four schools in Indianapolis.

Christel House is launching a 20-minute documentary titled “From Classrooms to Life.”

The film, produced by Moirai Films, features stories from students, teachers and parents across six countries. Producer Vanessa Lanci visited six countries in 36 days to capture these stories.
