INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Church leaders on Wednesday stood side-by-side inside St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church to reaffirm their opposition to a proposed data center.

They say they believe their pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

“Those that have brought the idea are refusing to change their mind, even after listening, supposedly,” said the Rev. Regan Robinson of St. John’s Baptist Church. “They seem determined to force this upon a community in a community that has rallied in large numbers to say that we don’t want it.”
