'Clankers' used to stop railroad bridge strikes

Glenville has seen 122 bridge strikes on their railroad bridges in recent years. Despite the state spending more than a million dollars on a high-tech warning system at Glenridge Road, nothing seems to stop people from hitting the low bridge.
