Colorado homicide suspect captured in rural Sevier County after police standoff

After a brief standoff with U.S. Marshalls and deputies, Eric Evan Douglas, 32, of Aurora, Colorado was taken into custody in Sigurd, Utah and is awaiting extradition to Colorado for a homicide that took place on Dec. 9, 2025.
