WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Thursday’s joint practice with the Atlanta Falcons wrapped up Colts Training Camp for the year, and was also the last practice with training camp at Grand Park.
After 13 practices in Westfield (and one joint practice with the New England Patriots in Foxborough), Colts head coach Shane Steichen shared what he has seen from his team.
“Camp’s been good,” Steichen said. “The back and forth with our offense and our defense, I’m really pleased with where we’re at. Obviously, we got some things to get cleaned up like always, but really pleased with everything.”
Colts defensive tackle Grover Stewart was happy with the work put in during training camp as well.
“I’d say we grew a lot,” Stewart said. “From day one to now, each day we got better. Each day, you got players stepping up. Young guys getting better. And the older guys doing better with their technique. I’d say we’ve been growing every day.”
The Colts had stability at the quarterback position during training camp this year, with Daniel Jones being the team’s starter. Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox enjoyed the consistency at quarterback.
