Colts to host Falcons for joint practices in Westfield

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — The Colts are set to host the Atlanta Falcons for joint practices on Wednesday and Thursday at DROPLIGHT Grand Park in Westfield.

Tune in to WISH-TV for live team coverage in Westfield starting at 5 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday.

The teams are scheduled to practice from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday and 3-4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen shared what the teams plan on focusing on during the practices.

“We’ll do a little bit of everything,” Steichen said. “We’ll do a move the ball and call it at the end, we’ll get some work, field goal work, special teams work like we always do, first and second down, seven-on-seven. And then Wednesday, we’ll finish with a two-minute, end-of-game situation there. So, I’m excited. I’m looking forward to Atlanta coming in.”

The Colts and Falcons will then play a preseason game on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
